Pemeliharaan yang Misterius dan Ajaib

Buku keempat Seri Sejarah Penebusan karya Pdt. Abraham Park, Pemeliharaan Yang Misterius dan Ajaib: Silsilah Yesus Kristus dari zaman Daud hingga zaman Pembuangan ke Babel, dimulai dengan riwayat pemerintahan Raja Daud dan Salomo yang menandai masa keemasan sejarah Israel. Periode ini kemudian berlanjut ke masa perpecahan kerajaan menjadi Kerajaan Yehuda Selatan dan Kerajaan Israel Utara. Empat belas generasi dalam periode kedua silsilah Yesus berakhir dengan jatuhnya kedua kerajaan tersebut dan pembuangan ke Babel (Mat 1:6-11). Periode ini terbentang dari tahun 1003 SM sampai tahun 598 SM. Sejarah raja-raja Israel bukanlah sejarah suatu bangsa semata melainkan suatu riwayat yang nyata dari pemeliharaan Allah yang seksama dan misterius untuk mempertahankan garis keturunan saleh sampai kedatangan Yesus Kristus. Ki Ageng Suryomentaram (20 Mei 1892-18 Maret 1962) adalah putra Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono VII dengan nama BRM (Bendara Raden Mas) Kudiarmadji. Seperti halnya tokoh sufi Ibrahim Ibnu Adham dan Sidharta Gautama, Ki Ageng Suryomentaram juga mengalami kegelisahan batin yang mendalam meskipun ia hidup di dalam keraton. Ia pun kabur dan menyamar sebagai rakyat jelata dan mengganti namanya, Notodongso. Selama pengembaraan dan tirakatnya itulah berbagai temuan dan pencerahan ia dapatkan. Dari berbagai karya dan tulisannya, satu di antaranya adalah Langgar. Buku Langgar yang semula berbahasa Jawa ini kemudian diterjemahkan dan diberikan penjelasan secara mendalam oleh penulis.
